3 stooges

When my mom shipped out Livy's birthday present, in the box she had put a wig I had used one year for a costume.
Well, we all took turns putting it on and getting pictures.
Jaedon was more than willing to pose
Sof posed for a little bit and then would take it off. Livy on the other hand, well you would have thought we were asking her to give herself a shot or something. She did not want to put it on! But we finally got her to at least put it on and this is what happened...crying and more crying,
Finally calming down a bit All right Livy, just smile and we can take the wig off (hahahaha)...no Liv, a real smile. A big smile.
Okay, close enough.

liv's 3!

From the previous post I told you that Livy turned and celebrated her fabulous 3rd birthday yesterday. We had a great day and it was full of adventure.
Livy started the day off right by opening her presents.
Love the excitement on her face. So these next 2 pictures I am showing because when we would ask Livy what she wanted for her birthday she would always say, "A unicorn with pink eyes." Don't know where she saw a unicorn with pink eyes. I wasn't able to find one with pink eyes, but did find one with a pink tutu. Then this doll, every time we would go into TJ Maxx she would ALWAYS ask for this doll. And it had to be the one with pink hair.
All ready to go for her princess party. The crown came in one of her presents, the Birthday Barbie, and the dress came compliments of Grandma Jones from the good ole Swiss Days.
I just loved this one of her. The little princess is ready as well. Again, thanks to Grandma Jones.
All the Princesses of the Ball and 2 Super Heroes
All decked out
The Barbie Cake!
The Princess and her cake
Wasn't really sure where to stick the candles.
For dinner Livy decided to go to IHOP (with some help from Dad)
And while Jon and I were helping Jaedon and Livy with their pancakes we turned around to find Sof munching away on a sausage that she snatched from Jon's plate. (She actually managed to snatch a second one, again when Jon wasn't paying attention)
Helping herself
We love you so much Livy and you bring a smile to our faces daily, multiples times a day actually. We are so glad, happy and blessed to have you apart of our family. We love you!

ms. sofia

I love this girl!
Whether she is trying Mr. Potato Head's glasses on...
or lounging and posing like she is some kind of super model. Just wish she could talk though, so we could stop with the ongoing screaming communication skills.

first soccer game

Blogging world has been a little slow lately for me. But this past Saturday Jaedon had his first soccer game. He was pretty excited to finally have a "real practice" as he called it. The coolest thing is that he was given the number...wait for it...15! I wore the number 15 for, well pretty much my soccer career. So the soccer Gods must be giving us some good vibes. :)
Waiting for the kickoff
I felt a little bad, because I don't think Jaedon really knew what was going on most of the time. So he was pretty timid. But hopefully as the year goes on he can catch on to what it is he is supposed to be doing out there. But here in this video was one time where he got some action and got into the "pack".

soccer

Jaedon started soccer this past week. I was curious how he would do physically and emotionally. The other boys on his team had played in the spring, so I was afraid that he was going to be the kid that didn't know how to do anything. But he did really well, and kept up with the rest of the kids. And there was no emotional break downs of any kind. But there was a kid on his team that did. Afterwards on our way home, I was afraid that maybe he would say that he didn't really like it, but he said he really liked it and is ready to go back next week.
