So blessed!

Lately it seems like I have just had this outpouring of love for my family. I am truly blessed to have such a wonderful husband, he is the best, best friend that I could ask for. He is so patient with me and our two kiddos. And is an amazing example of selfless love and charity. He has a way of putting me in my place, and helping me realize things, and seeing the other side and a different perspective of things. For my children, what can I say... I just love them to pieces!! Jaedon is such a wonderful brother to Livy and just absolute loves her. Olivia feels the same way about Jaedon too. It is so fun to sit there and just watch them interact with one another. I just LOVE my family!!

Here is the video I promised, and I know you are all just dying to see it!! :) She is becoming quite the roller lately, but now the problem is she hasn't figured out how to get back on her back, so she gets alittle frustrated with that.

Do the Tootsie Roll...the Tootsie Roll!

Little Miss Livy rolled from her back to her belly last night for the first time. It was quite the momentous occasion. We threw confetti, danced around to music, had some cake and ice cream with alittle bit of the bubbly! Alright, alright, so it wasn't that exciting, but we did say, "YEAHHH!!!!!" And then she did do it again this morning for Jon. I will try and get it on video so you all can see! :) She isn't very consistent with it yet, but she is getting there.

This and That

I have always seen other mothers put HUGE bows and flowers and what not on their little girls heads, and I have always thought it was pretty cute, but in a way kind of looked silly, because the thing was as big as their little beaners! And secretly told myself that I would never put that big of a thing on MY little girls head. Well, the other day I was shopping and found these flowers and thought, "Why not!" So, I tried it on Livy, and I must say she looked pretty dang cute. Well, we went out and played with some friends and I have never gotten so many comments, and looks, and smiles, as I did today with Livy and her HUGE flower. So I thought I would share it with everyone else.

Just playing around with "glass" as Jaedon calls them. I just LOVE the one with Livy though. It is great!

Photoshoot

I think these pictures need alittle bit of explaining. First of all, we had some pasta for dinner so we usually take all of Jaedon's clothes off so they don't get stained. So that is why he is in just his diaper. The second, he wore a tie to church, and these were taken last night, Sunday, and so when we took off all of his clothes we just had them laying on the floor. Well, later on that night Jaedon decided to attempt to put on his tie, so of course I helped him, and couldn't resist getting out the camera. As you all know from previous posts, Jaedon has been on a kick of posing for the camera and then has to see the picture afterwards. So these are all of the wonderful poses we got of him last night. Watch out Chip 'n Dales!!

He'll probably hate me when he is older and sees these pictures!

Cutting Nails

This is Jaedon getting his nails cut. You would think that the kid was getting murdered, or getting his finger chopped off, instead of just his nails!! But after awhile it turned more into a fake cry, and of course after every picture, "Lemme see, lemme see!!"

Jon's input: So, Jaedon absolutely hates getting his nails cut. He puts on quite the show; crying, pleading for help, "Daddy, it hurts!", etc. We've tried everything to make getting your nails cut a fun experience, but nothing seems to work, not even chocolate! Mel decided to take some pictures of Jaedon while he was throwing his fit. Through all the crying, he would hear the camera click and then say "I want to see". Then he would go back to crying. It actually distracted him very well. I just wish Mel would have told me she was going to post these pictures so I could have put on my contacts and combed my hair. I look awful!

Chatty Cathy... well, just Livy

Olivia lately has figured out she has a voice and tries to communicate with us. It's better than her sudden outbursts. But she can just go on and on... and especially if she is tired. But it is very cute, and I had to cut quite a bit out. (And just a reminder, go to the bottom of the page and turn the music down there, to hear her alittle better) ;)

The Latest...

Jaedon's latest thing to do lately is want to get into bed with Livy in her crib. It is pretty cute because he will make sure that the covers are over Livy, because "don't want Livy get cold." And then he will lay down and cover himself and smile and they say, "2 kiddos." It is pretty cute!



The other latest thing for Jaedon is he wants his picture taken ALL the time. But he doesn't just sit there and smile and look cute and innocent, he has to come up with all these silly poses and faces. And then has to see how the picture turned out, "Leme see, leme see." So here is one in action. Love it!!

So, a couple of people now have said that Livy looks like Claudia, Jon's mom. I definitely think that she looks more like Jon than me, but what do you think? Did I have my mother-in-law!? :)

I haven't been tagged since joining the blogging world, but I do enjoy reading them. I also wondered and thought what I would put down, and write if I were to be tagged. Most of the time I just drew blanks. But I was tagged by Becka, and it is a different tag than the ones I usually see, it is an ABC tag, so I think it will be pretty fun. So, here goes... A- Attached or Single? For sure, attached! B- Best friend? My cute husband, Jon C- Cake or pie? Definitely cake, unless it is cheesecake. But is cheesecake considered a cake or pie?! The name really throws me off. D- Day of choice? Saturday! That seems to be the only day where we can actually spend the whole day together as a family. E- Essential Item? Computer...with the internet. So maybe just the internet. I have to check my email and blogs, numerous times throughout the day! :) F- Favorite Color? Hmmm...to wear, it would be black or white, but I do like the sage green color. G- Gummy Bears or Worms? I like worms more. Seems like you get more because they are long. H- Home town? Huntsville,Utah. I loved it too! It was the funnest place to grow up. I- Favorite Indulgence? SHOPPING! Jon had to give me a special budget for it. J- January or July? I would have to say July, because I like the warm weather better. But January is good too, for new starts. K- Kids? 2! Jaedon is 2 1/2 years, and Olivia is 4 1/2 months. L- Life isn't complete without? Family. Greatest joy and happiness in my life. M- Marriage date? The wonderful day of August 29, 2003. N- Number of brothers and sisters? 3 brothers, Nate, Isaac, and Mac. And 2 sisters, Rainee and Caitlin. O- Oranges or Apples? Oranges, but I do enjoy a good sweet, crisp apple. Fuji preferably. P- Phobia and fears? Not real sure here, but I have noticed that Pennsylvania bugs can give me the willies at times. I also have noticed that heights are starting to scare me alittle more as I am getting older. And really scare me if Jaedon or little kids are around. I think about them falling. Q- Quote? Hmmm...Kind of drawing a blank here, but the first thing that came to my mind though was actually my favorite scripture. It is in John 15:13 "Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends." The whole chapter is pretty good too. R- Reason to smile? Jon's break-dancing, Jaedon's silly face, Livy's cute smile. S- Season of choice? Fall. I like when it is starting to get cool, and my birthday is around that time also. So it is just a great time of year. T- Tag three people? Let's see, who hasn't been tagged? I will tag, my cute mom, Liz, and...oh boy, another blank...lets do Kera! U- Unknown fact about me? I am a crazy and wild, ear pincher!! Once I start it is hard to stop! The best are little kiddos ears, and if ears are cold, there is just something about that, that I just can't control myself. It runs in the family, my dad did it all the time and I think my little brother is worse than me. V- Vegetable? Chard! Way better than spinach, and they don't have it out here in the East. Well, atleast in the stores, and know one knows what it is. I should grow some in a little planter box. I took it for granted in Utah. W- Worst habit? Probably pinching ears, oh, and popping my knuckles and cracking my neck. But it feels so much better after I do it. X- X-ray or Ultrasound? Probably ultrasound...if it has to do with looking at a little baby! Y- Your favorite food? Italian, and Chinese. But pastas have been very delicious lately. Z- Zodiac sign? Good ole' Libra!
