At our house, it seems all day long that the kids want snacks and are hungry, BUT come dinner time, somehow they are no longer hungry and don't want what was prepared for them.
On this occasion, Sofia was the one refusing what was on her plate. After much asking and telling her to eat, I wasn't making any ground in the battle, so I gave her a choice. She needs to eat her dinner or go to bed...
she chose the latter.

this EXACT.SAME.THING happens at our house!!! EVERY.STINKIN.DAY. we tell the kids they can either eat or go get ready for bed too--however, no one has fallen asleep, they just throw tantrums. sooo relieved that this happens in other homes!!
This reminds me of a picture the you had of Olivia when she was in timeout with her head up against the window asleep. Such a cute picture!
