Happy 4th of July

To celebrate the 4th of July we thought we would hit up the water park at Hershey park, but it was overcast, and had been raining all morning, but we thought 'what the heck, we will give it a try!' Well, it was freezing for the little kiddos. Jaedon's poor little lips and a good portion around his mouth was bright purple, but every time we would ask him if he wanted to go because it was too cold he said no. So, finally after hypothermia set in we talked him in to leaving and coming back later and we could ride on the "bumpy" roller coaster.

We then went to the Med Center and the Hershey Symphony played in the rain. We got some free ice cream and drinks. Which Jaedon of course loved!

Towards the end they played a tribute to each service man, Army, Marines, Air Force, etc. They were told to stand up when their song came on, but of course Jon didn't because he doesn't like the attention. (what a pair we make, because I wouldn't have stood up either), but I was really trying to get him too. So this is the Air Force fight song...

We sure enjoyed our 4th and are grateful for the freedoms that we have and can enjoy.
